In a recent video for Vogue, Olivia Rodrigo says she likes to keep her routine "pretty simple," and she wasn't kidding. As the video shows, the 18-year-old pop star only uses one product in her skin-care routine.
Before diving in, Rodrigo takes her daily vitamin, Olly Undeniable Beauty ($13), which she says has helped boost hair growth since she started taking it last year. "I also love taking these first thing in the morning because they're so yummy."
Next, she reaches for Epionce Milky Lotion Cleanser ($27), a product she started using about a month ago. "I had the worst case of dermatitis where I broke out all around my mouth, and I think it was a combo of wearing masks a lot and using a bunch of products that were irritating my skin. My dermatologist said 'cut everything out of your skin-care routine and just wash your face' and that's sort-of why my skin-care and makeup routine is so simple." Outside of the cleanser, she occasionally uses The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% ($6).
Her makeup routine, however, is a multifaceted one. After applying some chapstick, Rodrigo goes in with First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 ($28) to start her makeup look. "I like to keep it really natural and glowy like Billie Eilish's makeup—she always looks like she's glowing and perfect." Once that is rubbed in, she applies the weightless Glossier Stretch Concealer($18) in shade G10 under her eyes.
After a sweep of bronzer, blush and highlighter, she finishes her look with Glossier Pro Tip Liquid Eyeliner ($16), Milk Makeup Kush High Volumizing Mascara ($25) and a light layer of Glossier Ultralip ($18). "The Ultralip has hyaluronic acid in it so it keeps your lips moisturized, which is very important for me. I love how it's buildable...It just emphasizes what you got."
