There are more iconic beauty brands than we can count, but Chanel Beauty definitely tops the list. The characteristics that make them so special: They’re chic and effortlessly timeless, their blend of colors and concepts work beautifully on everyone, they have a superior quality when it comes to their formulas, and they collaborate with top A-listers for their campaigns.

For a brand of such high caliber, their spokeswomen must be one of the same. The faces of the brand—all icons, of course—have been across the board. In 2016, Kiera Knightly fronted the Rouge Coco Lipstick collection; 2019 was the year that Margot Robbie represented the Gabrielle Chanel Essence; and the face of the Chanel N°5 2020 campaign fits in quite perfectly to their famous roster: French Academy Award winner and all-around beauty Marion Cotillard.

“This is the first time that the most respected French actress in Hollywood is lending her image to a fragrance,” says a release, making this collaboration one for the books. The new campaign will be unveiled later on this year, but the teaser videos show that something ethereal and dreamy is in the works.
