L’Oréal Groupe has taken skin-care innovation to new heights by unveiling the new L’Oréal Cell BioPrint at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The compact, “lab-on-a-chip” device promises to take personalized skin care to the next level by offering in-depth insights into a user’s skin biology in just five minutes.
Tapping into something called proteomics, the study of proteins and how they affect skin aging, the Cell BioPrint can analyze key biomarkers to reveal our skin’s biological age, predict how it will respond to ingredients like retinol and even forecast potential concerns like dark spots and enlarged pores. The goal? To shift from reactive to proactive skin care, allowing users to address issues before they surface.
