As seen on this week’s The Kardashians, Kim K. visited the DMV after-hours to renew her driver’s license photo, as hairstylist Chris Appleton and makeup artist Ariel Tejada joined—complete with hair tools and lights.
“Thank you guys for staying open,” Kim said as she entered the office with her crew in tow. “This is the most important photo you’ll ever take in your life.”

“It’s a big deal because you have to live with it for a long time,” Appleton told the camera. “Too many people live with driver’s licenses that are not cute…no matter where Kim goes, me and Ariel have her back.”
Appleton and Kardashian then asked the department if they could crop the photo differently and do a side-by-side comparison, ultimately landing on the second option.
“I really just want it to look good. Like, why not bring a light and a glam team?” Kardashian then said in the confessional. “It’s definitely crazy, but I don’t care.”
