It seems like every beauty product Glossier releases turns to gold. And its latest unveiling, Invisible Shield ($34), promises not to disappoint.
While we all know of the importance of wearing SPF every day (derms say to don one that has at least 30 in it to prevent premature aging, your risk of skin cancer and all the other unfortunate side effects that the sun can do to your skin), but there are still plenty of Americans who bypass applying it on a daily basis for the sheer fact that they don’t like how it feels (or even looks) on their skin. But, thanks to the ingenious folks over at Glossier, there’s now a new, clear option—no excuse not to protect yourself now!

Just a few pumps dispenses a clear liquid that comes out a bit oily but absorbs instantly into skin. Without any white residue, this water-gel formula, which is filled with teeny, tiny spheres of UV filters, doesn’t sting, irritate or leave skin feeling the least bit greasy. In fact, when we tested it out, our skin felt pretty well-hydrated after we applied it, with a bit of natural glow to it, too.
So for all you naysayers out there who think it’s OK to skip sunscreen—it’s not—there’s absolutely no reason now why you shouldn’t be wearing it every single day. Are we clear?
