At the Grammys, Claudia Sulewski’s hair made a quiet, yet unforgettable statement: A sophisticated merging of ’60s glamour coupled with '90s cool—complete with clean lines, soft waves and subtle crown volume. The result: A look that was polished and effortless, with touchable shine and natural movement that felt "timeless without trying too hard."
Celebrity hairstylist Ericka Verrett drew inspiration directly from a seriously luxe source: Prada’s design philosophy. “Prada has this effortless way of making minimalism feel elevated. I love how they balance clean structure with softness, so I wanted the look to feel polished but not overdone, with a nod to classic Prada,” Verrett explains, adding that the BioTech Blowout Leave-In from Goddess Maintenance ($40) “made everything easier" to achieve this look. "It gave the hair that smooth, glossy finish, while still keeping it soft and protected. It felt elevated, but still natural.”

Coined the "Prada Blowout," the result was a masterclass in understated glamour. “This look is all about touchable hydration, shine and effortless movement—powered by Goddess Maintenance’s BioTech Blowout Leave-In. Inspired by Prada’s way of blending modern with subtle nods to the past, we took cues from how the ’90s reinterpreted the ’60s—clean, cool and never too kitsch. A nostalgic shape with a modern finish,” Verrett says.
While it may go without saying, Verrett stresses that the influence from the decade is undeniable. “The 90s had this effortless, real vibe…simple, but also really fun," she says. "You had this mix of clean, minimal beauty and the moments that were bold. I think people love that contrast. The '90s were an eclectic bouquet of whatever it was you were going for but every look, whether it be simple or extra extravagant, felt personalized and not cookie-cutter.”
