Ciara gives us an inside look at her brand-new skin-care collection, OAM, and the beauty essentials she keeps in her everyday rotation.

01: Level Up

“At the beginning of my career, I thought I needed makeup to feel beautiful and I didn’t know much about skin care—I used body wash on my face. My makeup artist and bestie Yolonda was the voice of reason and told me I should take care of my skin. But I’ve never really been sure which products to use, and that’s one of the reasons I created OAM—it stands for “On a Mission” because I always say I’m a woman of ambition on a mission. I’ve put my heart and soul into this brand, down to every little detail. And being a woman of color, I’m all about inclusivity, and these formulas allow everyone to have that radiant glow—these are what you need to level up your skin-care regimen.”

02: Serene Scene

“My bathroom is my little oasis. It’s essentially where I go to start and end the day. I know I’m truly done for the day when I’m in there, taking off my makeup. It’s also where I spend the most time focused on me and self-care, like soaking in a bath or doing my skincare routine. I love white flowers and I try to always have some around—it adds life and brightens the space.”

I feel like my youngest self right now because I’m taking the best care of myself.

03: Routine Matters

“Our OAM 20% Vitamin C Brightening Serum ($62)has been huge for me because it’s made my dark marks go away. It’s super potent but not harsh, and it’s made my skin tone more even and radiant. I wash my face every day with our Vitamin C Hydrating Cleanser ($28), morning and night—Russ likes our face wash, too—and I use our Vitamin C Eye Revitalizer ($35)consistently, which has really helped with my puffiness. I feel like my youngest self right now because I’m taking the best care of myself. I’m really working hard at it.”

04: Glow Getter

“I use just a wash of beautyblender’s Foundation ($29)—I’m shade Tan Sienna. It’s lightweight but gives great coverage, and it’s easy to apply with my fingers if I’m getting ready on the go. I don’t use concealer every day, but when I do, I like just a touch of beautyblender’s Concealer ($26) in Tan Golden. I dab it onto a few spots and under my eyes to add some brightness after a long night.”

05: Face Value

“Yolonda recently gifted me Iconic London’s Ultimate Brush Set ($105), and the bristles are super soft. I also love the Iconic London bronzer because of the warmth it gives. The metallic shimmer catches light and makes my skin glow without being super sparkly.”

06: Color Pop

“The Makeup by Mario Blush Stick in Earthy Pink ($28)is great for a pop of color, and I use it on my lips too. It goes on smoothly, blends well and lasts all day. And I love that it has a built-in brush.”

07: Body Icon

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps ($24) is a staple! I apply it after I shower, and it leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized. I love that it’s thick, but it absorbs well and isn’t sticky. I’ve also been using Aquaphor for years, on both myself and my babies. I swear by it! It’s a great moisturizer for my lips and hands, but I can use it pretty much anywhere on my body and it makes my skin better.”

08: Lip Fix

“Pinky-nude shades are my go-to for everyday wear, and Pat McGrath’s Lip Fetish Colour Balm ($38) in Blow Up is one of my favorites. The sheer color looks great by itself or over liner, and it also makes my lips feel hydrated and juicy.”
