Sarah Jessica Parker is currently filming season 3 of everyone’s favorite guilty-pleasure TV series, And Just Like That… so you know every SATC fan in New York has their eyes out for incredible fashion sightings all over the city. What many may not be as familiar with is the behind-the-scenes beauty details Parker’s makeup artist, Elaine Offers, frequently spills on social media, too.

Case in point: last May, Offers shared a glimpse of the blushes and highlighters worn by Carrie in season 2 of AJLT. “I use a lot of creamy products for a glowy and dimensional look,” Offers explained on Instagram. Then she shared the lineup: Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate in 1.0 Light ($95), Stila Cosmetics Convertible Color in Lillium ($25), MERIT Beauty Flush Balm in Cheeky ($30)—also worn by Emily in ParisLily Collins—and Finding Ferdinand Tender Blush in Attitude (originally 28, now $22).

I’ve never forgotten this post, so when I found the latter—in the exact bright pink hue SJP wears—in Credo Beauty’s Friends of Credo sale, I knew it was my duty as a beauty editor to share the news. Infused with squalane and antioxidant-rich, anti-inflammatory oils, Tender Blush is lightweight, skin-enhancing and blends like a dream. “This goes on perfectly and smooth as silk,” says one reviewer. A second raves: “This is the most gorgeous blush I’ve ever tried… Feels so luxurious to apply. My new holy grail product!” A third notes, “You don’t need much and it stays on for hours. Smooth and easy to apply.”

If you’re looking for a cream blush, this is a worthy pick, sale or no. Why? Makeup artists almost universally agree that cream blushes (or liquid) are the better option for dry or mature skin types. “These styles give the skin a dewy flush and a subtle lit-from-within glow,” celebrity makeup artist Kat Guevara previously told NewBeauty. The TL;DR: creamy formulas won’t cling to dry skin or accentuate fine lines like a powder formula may. A reviewer in their 70s agrees: “This is by far the best cream blush I have ever tried! I’m 78 and have been searching for a cream blush to replace my powder blush… but didn’t find the perfect one… until now! It lasts all day on top of looking beautiful. I also use it on my lips with a clear gloss over it. You have a customer for life!”
