You don’t have to be a Sabrina Carpenter fan to know that the 25-year-old made her debut as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live on May 18. The excitement over her performance has spread far and wide, with people raving about everything from her vocals to her glam. Fortunately, we got some insider info on the exact makeup products she wore onstage, including items from Armani Beauty and r.e.m. beauty.
To perfect her signature glow and flushed cheeks, celebrity makeup artist Carolina Gonzalez used Armani Beauty products, which have seemingly become staples in the Disney Channel alum’s makeup bag. She most recently wore the Armani Beauty Prisma Glass Hydrating Lip Gloss with Squalene ($38) for her first Skims campaign, but this time, she’s debuted a slew of other products from the luxury makeup line, including a newly launched blush formulation as part of its beloved Luminous Silk line.
As for the rest of her glam, like her winged eyeliner and sky-high lashes, Gonzalez used products from Ariana Grande’s r.e.m. beauty. Ahead, we break down exactly what products Gonzalez used on the star for her SNL performance, which you can re-experience by pressing “play” on the video below.
Complexion Makeup
Gonzalez prepped her client’s skin with Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in shade 5.5 and Luminous Silk Concealer in shade 5.25. Then, she warmed up her complexion with Luminous Silk Glow Liquid Bronzer in shade 90, before applying the brand’s new Luminous Silk Cheek Tints, blending shades 53 and 62 for a custom flush. She finished her face makeup with Luminous Silk Glow Setting Powder in shade 4.
Color Cosmetics
The rest of Carpenter’s makeup starred bold winged eyeliner, a pop of shimmer in the inner corners, natural eyeshadow, and voluminous lashes with Twiggy-like definition on her lower lashes, for all of which Gonzalez used r.e.m. products. The standout product in this lineup was the r.e.m. beauty Midnight Shadows Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Lab Coat, an iridescent, long-wearing pigment that brightened her eyes, making them visible to audience members far and wide.
As for the rest of Carpenter’s makeup routine, she used the Babydoll Eyeshadow Palette ($25), the At The Border Eyeliner Marker in Midnight Black ($19), and Flourishing Lengthening Mascara in Midnight Black ($16). She also included one more Armani Beauty product, layering her lips with the brand’s Lip Power Lipstick in shade 106, which is currently labeled as a “last-chance” lip shade on the brand’s website and is discounted. In other words, you should definitely hurry if you want to covet the warm-toned, light brown hue à la Carpenter while it’s still available.
