Paige Lorenze doesn’t care if you think she’s cool, and that’s the premise of her brand Dairy Boy. Despite her indifference, and maybe because of it, the ski racer turned influencer across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube is, in fact, very cool. Paige recently moved out of New York City to embrace her true self—one that loves small-town living and whole milk. As Paige shifted into a new season in life, so did Dairy Boy as it released a handful of new launches with exciting additions to come, including a pop-up shop around the U.S. Open. We caught up with Paige between her travels, business ventures and content creation.

What was the inspiration behind Dairy Boy, and what do you hope the brand accomplishes?

“While I was living in New York, I felt like I had to change who I was to fit in with everyone else. It took a toll on my mental health, and I realized that I needed to embrace my true self. As I grew and evolved in the city, I came to the realization that it’s okay to be proud of where I come from, even if it’s from the middle of nowhere.

That’s when the idea for Dairy Boy was born. Inspired by my memories of Vermont and my love for life’s simple pleasures, I created a brand that celebrates individuality and encourages people to embrace what makes them happy. It started as a simple catchphrase, ‘Dairy Girl Summer,’ but it evolved into something much bigger.

Dairy Boy is a celebration of my connection to Vermont, my love for farms, my appreciation for family traditions and small-town living. It’s a reminder that you should be yourself and like the things you like, even if they aren’t considered ‘cool’ by society or social media. I hope the brand continues to grow and evolve naturally as I do and that it remains a reflection of me.”

What are some of the changes you notice your mental health and well-being when you are in nature versus the city?

“I find myself feeling a lot more grounded, with a clearer mind and a clearer perspective. I am just a better version of myself when I am surrounded by nature and animals. I have had a really strong connection with nature ever since I was little, and it’s one of the things that has shaped me so much as a person. I am so grateful my parents allowed me this opportunity to grow up surrounded by nature, and I am definitely going to make sure my kids are raised the same way.”

What are some of the makeup products you turn to for a date night or girl’s night out?

“I have been absolutely loving the Yves Saint Laurent All Hours Luminous Matte Foundation 24H Longwear SPF 30 with Hyaluronic Acid ($60). It is super full coverage but not too thick. The formula is insane. I actually got it as gifting, and I’ve been wearing it consistently ever since.”

I’m a skier as well. I’d love to know what skin care you use to keep your skin and lips hydrated in the cold weather.

“I absolutely love Barbara Strum for my skiing skin-care routine. They make amazing discovery kits—even a skiing one. The products all do a really good job of protecting your skin’s barrier. I also love Tata Harper skin care.”

You’re also at a lot of tennis matches these days, supporting your boyfriend, Tommy Paul. Are there any sunscreens you swear by for hot days?

Supergoop is my all-time favorite sunscreen for wearing under makeup.”
