With a bio that spans acting to modeling, home design to animal-advocacy, Los Angeles–based, European-born Nikita Kahn also has a serious love for SPF, microneedling and SkinCeuticals serums—and she’s not afraid to share her skin-care secrets.

What are you excited for as the summer closes out?

“I’m looking forward to visiting the Mediterranean this summer. There’s nothing better than going to the islands. It gives me a sense of freedom and creativity. I’m also looking forward to getting some inspiration for my next project.”

What are some of your holy grail beauty products?

“Currently, I’m obsessed with SkinCeuticals. They have the best serums. I can’t go anywhere without them. During the day, I use Phloretin CF and at night, I use Discoloration Defense to get rid of spot discoloration. Besides that, I love La Prairie skin care. The White Caviar line is my favorite.”

Is there anything you do for self-care that’s “out there?”

“It’s a must for me to wash my face before bed. You’ve got to do it! You need to let your skin breathe and moisturize and protect it at night. I always wear sunscreen on my face during the day. It’s sunny almost every day in California, and sunscreen protects my skin from sun damage and premature aging.

As for my body, I use an infrared sauna and cryotherapy regularly. It relaxes my muscles, reduces inflammation after workouts, and renews and energizes me.”

Are there any dermatologist treatment you swear by?

“Twice a year, especially after summer vacation, I do a melasma peel to get rid of discoloration and wrinkles. That’s an amazing treatment! There’s only one downside: two weeks of recovery. Another regular treatment I do is microneedling with RF. Besides tightening the skin, it prompts it to produce collagen.”

Do you have any beauty regrets from high school?

“Sure, of course! Everyone does, I guess. Keep your hands off your skin! Aside from spreading acne, it can leave scars. And protect your skin from sun damage early with sunscreen!”
