If there’s one thing we know about LaLa Kent, it’s that she’s not going to let anything stand in the way of her looking and feeling her best. Like all of us, though, the Vanderpump Rules star has lazy days too, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to sacrifice her makeup routine entirely.
If you’re looking for ways to look put together and chic even when you’re low on time or energy, you’re in luck. This week, Kent made a video for Bravo TV walking viewers through her “lazy day” eye makeup routine, which she uses to look fresh, awake and glamorous even on those not-so glamorous days.
LaLa Kent’s Eye Makeup Routine
Kent began by explaining to viewers that this look is for “ye old lazy day,” as she coined it, “where we want to look pulled together but don’t have the energy to do a cat eye.” Going into the routine, Kent starts with an unconventional product for an eye look: Too Faced’s Cocoa Contour Palette. “This is a Too Faced palette that’s actually for contouring, but it’s so good for the lids of the eyes,” she says while applying the neutral shades to her lid with a fluffy brush, adding just the slightest bit of depth to the crease.
Next, Kent goes in with a silver glitter liner before going in with a darker shade from the Too Faced palette and lining just a bit under the eyes. She then goes in with the Essance Lash Princess Mascara ($5) to liven up her lashes. Next she takes out an eyeshadow palette and dabs a small amount of a “creamy white shimmer” shade to the inner corners of her eyes. “This is a good trick too even if you don’t do it for every day, but if you’re just looking a bit sleepy.” To round out the look, Kent takes a highlighter stick and applies a touch of highlight to her brow bone with an eyeshadow brush for just one more pop of brightness.
