Season three of And Just Like That… officially premieres on May 29, and the show’s cast has spent the last week pulling out their best looks for the red carpet promo tour. Last week, Sarah Jessica Parker attended the New York City premiere with her hair in crimped curls and a deep side part, along with a face full of Merit Beauty products. For this week’s premiere in Paris, Kristin Davis also took hair inspiration from a past era.

The 60-year-old actress, who plays Charlotte in the series, stepped out at the event wearing a floral maxi dress with ruffled shoulders and a long, slicked-back Barbie ponytail with flipped-out ends. The ponytail also appeared to be slightly teased near the top to give it a bigger, bolder look, and it was tied together with a big black bow wrapped around the base.

The high ponytail has always been a classic hairstyle, but since the Barbie movie premiered in 2023, the retro look with flipped-out ends has made a major comeback on both social media and red carpets. Davis’s hair was styled by DJ Quintero, who shared photos and videos of the look via Instagram following the premiere. In one video, he’s seen putting the finishing touches on Davis using the No Nothing Sensitive Super Strong Hold Hairspray ($29). The spray is a fragrance-free formula made specially for sensitive scalps, but it’s still strong enough to ensure curls are held in place and flyaways don’t appear. So, at least now we have an idea of how to recreate the 60s-inspired style at home.
