“I’m so excited to finally share my debut fragrance with all of you,” Khloé Kardashian captioned a gallery of photos on her Instagram grid, teasing fans about the upcoming launch on Tuesday, November 19. Translation: the reality star-turned-entrepreneur is making exciting new business moves. As revealed in the post, XO Khloé officially hit the virtual Ulta Beauty shelves on Sunday, December 1—and it’s landing in stores on December 8.
Fans can expect a floral gourmand scent, as detailed on Ulta Beauty’s product page. The fragrance features top notes of crystallized rose petals, lavender and sage blossom; middle notes of orange blossom water, praline and “juicy” peach; and base notes of moss, tonka bean, soft wood and “sexy” musks.
While this isn’t technically Kardashian’s first foray into fragrance, she says it feels like her debut. “The other creations I did in the fragrance world, I either did with my ex-husband or I did with my sisters. I’ve never done one completely on my own, which is really cool but also nerve-wracking. It’s all reliant on you,” she told WWD. “It is scary, but it’s also really liberating that I get to do it all on my own.”
NewBeauty first covered Kardashian’s fragrance plans last December. At the time, Cosmetic Business reported that she partnered with luxury perfume maker Luxe Brands to create a fragrance collection for 2024. She even spoke to WWD about her plans: “Doing the whole fragrance—picking the liquid, the color, the bottle—I’ve experienced before, but I’m in such a different place in my life now,” she said. “I’m older, I’m wiser. In business, I don’t look to loan my name out to someone. I’m really hands-on and controlling, which I take as a compliment and this was the right fit.”
As hinted by Trendmood last month, the brand’s future might expand beyond traditional eau de parfums. “Looks like she has a lot more planned for us,” the popular social media platform captioned a post, citing Kardashian’s trademark filings for everything from candles and body lotions to hair and body mists.
