New love isn’t all that’s responsible for Kelsea Ballerini’s glow at tonight’s CMT Awards. The singer-songwriter is co-hosting the awards show for the third time this year and kept things interesting by making her red-carpet debut with boyfriend Chase Stokes of Outer Banks fame. While her plus-one sure added a spring to her step, Ballerini’s skin and makeup routine also left her radiant.
Celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan used three CoverGirl products to prep Ballerini’s skin ahead of makeup (Ballerini is a CoverGirl herself): Clean Fresh Skincare Correcting Serum + Moisturizer + Primer in 100 Redness Neutralizer ($18), Clean Fresh Skincare Priming Glow Mist ($10) and Clean Fresh Skincare Weightless Water Cream ($20). The oil-free Water Cream uses cactus water and hyaluronic acid to weightlessly hydrate and plump the skin either before makeup or when worn alone.
To enhance her already-flawless complexion, Deenihan used CoverGirl’s Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation ($7), Clean Fresh Hydrating Concealer ($7), TruBlend So Flushed High Pigment Blush in 360 Sweet Seduction ($8), and TruBlend So Flushed High Pigment Bronzer in 420 Warmth ($8).
On the eyes, it was the iconic Lash Blast Clean Volume Mascara ($9), Clean Fresh Clean Color Eyeshadow Quad in Classic Smokey and Midnight Sky ($10), Exhibitionist Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow in Twinkle Town ($13), Perfect Blend Eyeliner Pencil in 110 Black Brown ($5), and Easy Breezy Brow Setting Gel in Clear ($5).
To complete the look, Deenihan opted for the Exhibitionist Lipstick in 255 Tempting Toffee and 280 Decadent Peach ($6 each).
