Our favorite A-listers have been on a roll creating their own makeup lines during quarantine and Jennifer Lopez just announced that she’s joining the party.
On Sunday, the Hustlers star took to Instagram with a series of radiant selfies, teasing her upcoming line with the caption, “Sunset glow…#JLoBeauty coming soon.”
However, the biggest surprise isn’t the long-awaited launch, it’s that her beauty line—called JLo Beauty—is a mix of both makeup and skincare.
According to a trademark she filed in December of 2019, JLo Beauty will offer a mix of cleansers, moisturizers, soaps, masks and serums. But her Instagram post foreshadowed that bronzers, highlighters and lip glosses might also be among the lineup.
Now that the secret is out, it’s apparent that the 51-year-old star has been hinting at this for quite some time. At an event at The Wing Soho in 2018, she announced that a skin-care line was under wraps saying, “I will be coming out with a skin-care line. I’ve been working on it for a long time because I don’t want to put [just] anything out.”
Lopez also added that the line will be “something that encompasses all the things I’ve learned and all the secrets I have. And it doesn’t have anything to do with needles.”
As time passed, fans seemed to forget about the big reveal until the star rekindled our interest with a steamy post last Tuesday saying, “Don’t want to keep you all waiting too much longer….. ?? #SomethingIsComing.”
If the makeup in her line is the same as what Lopez used in her glowy selfie, we want everything to do with it.
