While it’s an hour earlier (thankfully, for those of us with an early bedtime), the 2024 Oscars are officially underway. For the past few hours, the hottest celebrities in Hollywood have walked the red carpet dressed to the nines and rocking some of the best beauty looks we’ve seen all season in honor of the biggest night in Hollywood.
As the stars keep rolling in, we’re keeping a close eye on all things hair, makeup and, of course, skin care to find out just how these A-listers prep for the big night. Jamie Lee Curtis is one actress that always wows on the carpet, from her timeless gowns to her radiant complexion and effortless humor. Tonight, the star took to The Oscars red carpet in an understated black gown, letting the star of the show be her glowing skin courtesy of this collagen cream.
Jamie Lee Curtis’ Oscars 2024 Skin Prep
At 65 years old, Jamie Lee Curtis is the definition of timeless beauty, and her plump, radiant skin at tonight’s 2024 Academy Awards is living proof. As we all know, behind every glowing glam look is a tried-and-true skin prep routine, and Curtis’ was courtesy of viral brand Beauty Pie. As makeup artist Grace Ahn said, “Jamie is the epitome of an understated beauty. Always classic and always beautiful. Beauty Pie products are really perfect for this awards show. The makeup artist began with the Beauty Pie Triple Hyaluronic Acid Hydra-glow Sheet Mask ($70) which she says is “fantastic for facial hydration.” Next, she went in with what she calls the “stars of the show,” the brand’s Youthbomb 360° Radiance Concentrate Serum ($185)— “the extraordinary red carpet glow giving serum, formulated with a proprietary blend of 15 active ingredients”—and Youthbomb Biologic Collagen Peptide Cream ($175).
Once she made sure Curtis’ complexion was hydrated, plump and glowing, Ahn went in with the Youthbomb Body 360° Repair Concentrate ($125). As a final step to make sure Curtis’ skin was ready for makeup, Ahn used the Wonderfilter Brightening Primer ($45), which Ahn says “delivers a naturally radiant dewy gorgeous glow.”
