Celebrity makeup artist Nina Park says she “wanted to highlight Elizabeth Debicki’s natural grace and poise with a makeup look that felt both timeless and sophisticated,” and she nailed it. The Australian beauty was nominated for her take on the beloved Princess Diana in The Crown. “I was inspired by her deep burgundy velvet dress and wanted to create a palette that complemented the loko,” she adds. The most important step to getting the perfect makeup look, however, is, of course, skin prep.

“I began with skin care to ensure a hydrated, healthy base. I pressed in the Guerlain Abeille Royale Advanced Youth Watery Oil ($145), then applied the Abeille Royale Double R Renew & Repair Advanced Serum ($240),” says Park. Next, she massaged Abeille Royale Honey Treatment Day Cream ($180) onto the skin to lock the moisture in.

We were also entranced by Debicki’s cheek contour. While a lot of that can probably be chalked up to good genes, the bronzing was perfectly applied to draw the eye. Park says after applying foundation, she “warmed up the skin with the Terracotta Light the Sun-Kissed Healthy Glow Powder in 01 Clair ($59) with a kabuki brush around the hairline, cheekbones, across the nose and jawline.” She also likes to “buff this color on the neck and chest to neutralize and naturally warm up the skin tone.”
