However, while Barrymore is clearly open to trying plenty of new skin care products and treatments, there’s a few beauty procedures—namely fillers—that she claims she’d never get. It turns out, the 41-year-old actress credits her youthful skin to a bizarre-looking face mask. In a picture posted to Instagram, Drew showed off the Hanacure face mask—a brush-on mask that dries and tightens sagging skin on the face.
While the face mask appears pretty terrifying at first sight, Drew claims that it makes her look “10 years younger” after it’s removed, also adding that “it makes you look so fresh when you wash it off.”
So, what is this mysterious mask? Well, it’s a Korean beauty product that works by first using a purifying compound to absorb impurities when applied to the skin in liquid form. Then, the company’s patented CO2 OctoLift technology fuses with this compound, causing it to dry out and pull the skin taut. Once it’s completely dried, wearers remove the mask to reveal smoother, younger-looking skin.
As an added bonus, this mask isn’t a peel off product, which many users have complained about due to excessive pain while removing. All you have to do is rinse the solution with warm water for the residue to dissolve from your skin. Considering how good Drew’s skin looks day-to-day, we’ll take her word on this one.
