Actress, model and singer Carmen Electra—you may remember her as Lani in Baywatch—is entering the beauty scene with the launch of her own brand, a three-piece skin-care collection called GOGO. At 48 years old, Electra credits her meticulous skin-care routine for her radiant glow, and says it’s “time to share my secret with the world.” Here’s the scoop.

I’ve read that you’ve been using the same skin-care routine for more than 20 years…tell me more!
“I have! It’s really about my secret system and ingredients. I have always focused on a moisturizing makeup removal, hyaluronic acid serum and a deep moisturizing face cream packed full of high-quality essential ingredients. I love combining them all as a regimen, and as you can see, it has just really worked for me to keep my skin healthy, surgery-free and glowing.”

What inspired you to launch your own brand?
“I have always been obsessed with my daily skin routine in order to keep my skin looking healthy and youthful. I know it’s worked magic for my skin over the years and I feel like now is a great time to share my secret with the world. So, I partnered with my amazing team of skin-care professionals to develop high-quality products that are affordable for everyone.”

How did you come up with the name GoGo Skincare?
“My life has always been GO GO GO, so I wanted to make a brand for a woman (or man) on the move. The GOGO Skin Care System is easy to do even with the busiest schedule. The name was also inspired by all my years as a passionate dancer and one of the songs from my album with Prince was called ‘Go Go Dancer.'”

What comes in the three-piece set, and are the products meant to be used in a specific way?
“Yes, here I’ll give you a run through of the three-step process:

Step 1: GLOW
After washing your face and removing makeup, you’ll first apply Glow, which is a hyaluronic acid serum. It helps smooth out wrinkles, moisturize skin cells deep down, and increase skin suppleness and resistance.

Step 2: AWAKEN
Next up is our amazing eye serum called Awaken, which energizes dull-looking skin, improves luminosity, and helps reduce wrinkles and dark circles under the eyes. It also rebuilds collagen, so the skin under the eyes becomes stronger and firmer.

Step 3: NOURISH
My signature skin repair moisturizer called Nourish is the third step in the GOGO Skin Care system and deeply hydrates skin cells while helping to reduce wrinkles, increase elasticity and activate collagen production with natural, botanically sourced hexapeptides.”

What about sunscreen? I noticed it’s not included in the kit…do you plan to launch one at some point?
“Yes, I’m excited about expanding the GOGO Skincare line to include sunscreen in time for next summer. While shooting Baywatch I learned A LOT about protecting my skin from the sun. In the meantime, my favorite sunscreen that I’ve used for a long time is called SkinCeuticals Sheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50. SPF is so important!”

Why was it important to you that the products be vegan?
“It was really important to me that these products be grounded with nature. The ingredients that I really love are vegan, so it was a no-brainer that GoGo would be vegan as well.”

Aside from skin care, are there any other beauty products you’ve used consistently over the last 20 years?
“Yes. Albolene, which I’m sure you know already, is a makeup remover/moisturizer that works wonders for the first step in your routine.”

Are there any beauty trends you’re really into right now?
“I’m really into clean beauty right now! I’m a firm believer that taking care of your skin is more important than covering it up.”

Are you working on any new projects?
“Something I’m really excited about is the Baywatch documentary. Not a lot of details I can share at the moment, but it’s definitely something for the fans to be excited about!”
