The complicated character of Camille in Emily in Paris had a bit of a bumpy third season. However, actress Camille Razat, who embodies the character, had a great time filming from quality craft service snacks to shooting in the Musée d’Orsay.
The fashion and beauty in the show tell a story that’s essential to the main plot line, so it’s crucial that every detail is as it should be. None of this would be possible without the talented makeup artists on set. However, getting the look to that picture-perfect state is no quick feat. During a discussion with IPSY, Razat revealed which actresses take the longest in the makeup chair.
It may not come as a surprise, but Razat says the castmate that spends the longest time in the makeup chair is either Ashley Park or Lily Collins. She notes that their looks are very glamorous. “They put on more makeup than Camille or Sylvie, so they need more time,” she explained. Razat goes on to add that her two co-workers are “so beautiful” even before the hours in the makeup chair.
Razat also shared that her go-to makeup product is “strong mascara.” She likes to use mascara on the bottom lashes to achieve a sort of “Twiggy look.” Razat also notes that wearing mascara on the bottom lashes can also really help make your eyes look more open.
