You may have spotted the clean beauty and fragrance brand By Rosie Jane at Sephora or even added one of its beloved scents to your online shopping cart directly from the brand's website. If neither rings a bell but you're curious, you're in luck—the brand is only set to grow by launching its body-care range on target.com, coming Friday, November 1.
The brand's signature body-care scents, aptly named "Chill the F-ck Out" and "Wake the F-ck Up," each deliver an experience to match their names. "Chill the F-ck Out" blends lavender, chamomile and neroli for relaxation, while "Wake the F-ck Up" energizes with notes of lemon, verbena, grapefruit and eucalyptus.
Founder Rosie Johnston, who created the brand’s signature scents during her own menopause journey, shared with WWD that the inspiration stemmed from her body’s changes. "My body was going through all kinds of changes," she told the outlet. "I started to read about the effects of peppermint on hot flashes and your emotional well-being," she recalled. "That's how Chill came about.…I love[d] the way it felt on my skin. I love[d] the way that peppermint had this really immediate cooling factor."
The news comes at the perfect time, as we near the end of Menopause Awareness Month, which takes place in October. "It's very timely," said Johnston. "When we were starting the conversation with Target, we were not like, 'Let's launch [during] Menopause Awareness Wonth. It was kismet."
