Kim and Khloé Kardashian’s Nutritionist Offers His Best Slim Down Tips

Celebrity nutritionist Dr. Philip Goglia is responsible for
shaping some of the world's hottest bodies including Chris Hemsworth, Cara Delevingne, Kim and Khloé Kardashian.
When it comes to his clients, the goal is "to reduce inflammation and look as lean as you can–with a great deal of energy,” Goglia says in an interview with People.
Surprisingly, his tactics, while not easy by any means, are not totally impossible either. Below are four important tips from Goglia. Would you give them a try?
1. Cut out dairy.
NewBeauty cover star Khloé Kardashian told us that she lost 11 pounds in a month just by cutting out dairy. "Dairy is like eating moderately hard phlegm,” Galaga says. “It adversely affects digestion, it causes bloating and gas, it promotes inflammation, and it adversely affects oxygen utilization.”

2. Eat only one-ingredient starches.
When it comes to starches, Goglia advises his clients only to eat one-ingredient starches such as “potatoes, rice, oatmeal, oat flakes or oat puffs.”
Anything that’s a multiple-ingredient starch—for example, bread, bagels and muffins, which are yeast, mold and gulten-bound—are on the no-no list.
3. Eat proteins for dinner, not carbs.
During the evening, “there should be no energy source food,” says Goglia. “People don’t run a marathon after dinner. You don’t need a potato at dinner. You’re going to store it as fat, and then you’ll enflame.”
Instead, Goglia recommends a dinner of vegetables and protein, especially fish.
“Fish offers up a lot of anti-inflammatory benefits and fat-burning benefits when consumed at night, but it’s got to be a fatty fish like salmon, sea bass, black cod or Arctic char,” he says.
4. Drink a lot of water.
My water tip of the day. I try to consume about 5 to 6 L of water a day. (based off of my body weight and how much I workout this number was given to me by a nutritionist) Of course, this does not happen every single day but the point is I try. But let's be honest… Water does tend to get boring after a while. So My current obsession is infused waters. Detox water, fruit flavored water, or fruit infused water; infused water can generally be any combination of fruits, vegetables, and herbs immersed in cold water. While infused water has the benefit of being full of flavor, it also has very low to no calories, making it a very powerful tool in your efforts to lose weight and gain better health. Nutrients leak out of the fruit directly into the water. Some nutritionists estimate that you get as much as 20% of the vitamin content of freshly squeezed fruit juice, all without he extra calories or fructose. 💦💦💦 check out my last tweet in regards to where I purchased these water bottles from.
Specifically, Goglia recommends drinking half your body weight in ounces of water (“not sparkling water, not juice, not coffee”) daily.
Water is "responsible for moving nutrients and toxins through your system, and then more importantly as it relates to your physique, it regulates temperature. If your water is low and you can’t regulate temperature patterns, then your body will start to store fat underneath your skin to act as insulation to control your temperature," he explains.
