Beauty Survey Says: Women in These States Have "The Most Expensive Face"

Online beauty retailer SkinStore just released a very interesting survey—one that takes into account everything from how many products we put on our faces daily to which states spend on what.
For starters, the results found the average American woman spends $8 on her face per day and applies 16 products minimum prior to walking out the door in the morning. New York, Connecticut and West Virginia ranked first for the “most expensive face” (those three states spend $11 per day), while Colorado was “the cheapest” with $5 per day. The survey polled 3,000 women between the ages of 16 and 75.

The state of Delaware ranked first for spending more on lipstick than any other state, North Carolina spends the most on foundation and Alaska spends the most on moisturizer. The average woman spends 10 minutes on her morning routine, but only six minutes before bed.
One surprising stat: Women aren’t so loyal to their beauty brands. The survey found that 85 percent of women polled “mix up” their brands with only 15 percent staying faithful to one brand for their entire regime. Check out the full results below.
