It is important to cool off the body with cooling foods in the warmer temperatures.”

Pack your summer salad with nutrient-rich leafy greens like spinach, arugula, mixed lettuces, sprouts, dandelions and mico-greens.
Add your favorite veggies to your summer salad like cucumbers, celery, cherry tomatoes and kim chi.
Make sure you incorporate good fats like avocado and olive oil into diet to keep you feeling fuller, longer. Another bonus? “These clean fats add incredible flavor to clean greens,” Littlefield says. “I’m all about how to make clean food delicious, and avocado and olive oil are my go-to ingredients.”

Aim for 10 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated. For an extra boost of body cleansing, Littlefield recommends adding lemon and mint.
