By now, you’ve probably got your initial summer manicure look bookmarked. Nailing down a single look is easy. However, deciding on a manicure and pedicure combination can be a tad harder. A medley of the seasons' best nail art doesn’t exactly translate to your toes. Of course, it’s always safe to go with a matching look, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. Lemon
Bright citrus colors are making a comeback this season for nails and toes. This vibrant lemon shade exudes energy and is a versatile hue for all skin tones. Glossy and high-shine finishes are a given, but if you want to make your nails stand out, Gerstein recommends trying a matte topcoat instead. The only caveat? Matte finishes don’t last as long but, as she explains, they instantly give your look a trendy, cool feel. Product to Try: Mineral Fusion Nail Polish in Golden Hour ($10)
