Gearing up to celebrate a big heritage milestone of 135 years in business in 2021, Avon has announced a jaw-dropping launch—in the very luxe form of a $1,200 fragrance release.
Scheduled to hit the market in late October, according to the company, Avon Charmed is the brand’s “most opulent and exclusive” perfume launch ever and will contain “precious ingredients gathered from around the world.”
In honor of the year Avon was founded, only 1,886 fragrances will be made available for sale. The bottle will feature an 18-karat, gold-plated peacock—complete with 21 Swarovski crystals—presented in a distinctive wooden collectible box.
While we haven’t had the pleasure of smelling the fragrance yet, the company tells us it will showcase three natural “Orpur” (a qualification awarded by perfumers to the most exclusive, finest qualities of natural materials) ingredients, including floral-spicy rose, jasmine absolute and a rich, woody-earthy patchouli.
