The People’s Choice Awards brings celebrities from all realms together. From reality TV stars to iconic musicians, the red carpet was littered with show-stopping makeup looks and trendsetting styles. The most impressive guests to us were the women over 50. From sporting highly pigmented eyeshadow to elevated updos and even rock-hard abs, these women nailed it.
Makeup artist Beau Nelson prepped Ellen Pompeo’s skin using a variety of products from Dermalogica. The brand’s new Micellar Prebiotic Precleanse ($49), the Circular Hydration Serum With Hyaluronic Acid ($59) and the brightening Biolumin-C Vitamin C Eye Serum ($69) were some of the products behind the star’s glow.
Shania Twain paid tribute to her iconic leopard outfit from her “That Don’t Impress Me Much” music video from over 14 years ago, marking her comeback in a big way. Something that did impress us—her abs.
Niecy Nash was looking minty fresh from head to toe, including her sparkling eyeshadow and chic outfit. Her lashes will make you take a double glance.
Presenter Ana Gasteyer sparkled in sequins. The not-so-subtle shade of her dress was almost on par with Pantone’s Color of the Year Viva Magenta.
Reality Star of the Year nominee Kyle Richards was looking fun and flirty on the red carpet. She pulled out all the stops for the all-black look, including feathers, leather and platforms.
Darian Darling “painted” the bombshell beauty for the People’s Choice Awards. A high, pulled-back ponytail helped highlight an intense smokey eye, which brought out the best of Carmen Electra’s blue eyes.
Red carpet host Laverne Cox stunned in an ornate Collina Strada dress. The look was elevated with gorgeous glowing skin from head to toe and golden highlights pulled into an updo.
Chris Dylan stopped by the Hilton homestead ahead of the People’s Choice Awards to do Kathy Hilton’s hair. The sleek style perfectly complemented the bold purple dress and cape look.
