I realize it’s kind of weird to be excited about antiperspirant or deodorant, but I’m sorry, I just am. My favorite, Dove Ultimate-the kind that goes on clear-is now available in a new formula: Visibly Smooth.

Just like those body lotions and shaving creams that gradually reduce how often you need to shave, using Visibly Smooth, which is both an antiperspirant and deodorant, leads to less obvious hair, thanks to the solid formula’s Pro-Epil Complex. At first, it just conditions your underarm skin. But soon enough, the hair under there gets finer, softer, and easier to remove; until one day, you hardly even notice it.

I’m the type of person who can completely forget to shave her armpits, even when I have the razor in my hand, shaving my legs in the shower. (Have you ever been fully dressed, you go to pull your hair back in a ponytail, and you realize you’re showing stubble? That’s me. Like, every other day.) So, needless to say, I feel like Dove conjured up this formula just for me. I’m honestly surprised it’s not called Dove Ultimate Visibly Smooth Marciperspirant.

OK, that’s dumb. But I’m too excited about my new deodorant to be clever right now!

Visibly Smooth is starting to show up in drugstores, and there are coupons popping up all over the place, so keep your eye out. And if you prefer extra-strength antiperspirant formulas, worry not-the Pro-Epil Complex is available in the Clinical Protection variety, too.
