What we know about model and socialite Sofia Richie, we love. From her classic style to her understated elegance, she’s not your average 24-year-old. Much like her father Lionel, Richie has always been obsessed with beauty and skin care. Now, with a new role as beauty director for Nudestix, she is excited to share her passion and less-is-more approach to achieving glowing “nude skin.”
“I’ve been using Nudestix products for years and I am thrilled to be working with them so closely,” she tells us. As “Nude Beauty Director,” she will help inspire new Nudestix and Nudeskin products and is also launching a new category later this year. Here, she takes a moment to share with us what sparked her passion for great skin and the products she cannot live without.
What is your first beauty memory?
“My first beauty memory is doing my makeup at my mom’s vanity! She always had the best makeup.”
What inspires you the most in terms of skin care or makeup?
“Honestly, it was growing up with acne. I was always really curious and determined to have clean and healthy skin.”
Were you always a fan of the brand?
“I’ve always loved Nudestix’s minimalistic approach to makeup and skin care. The multiuse function of the Nudies products can get me out the door in less than 10 minutes which is ideal for my busy schedule. The four-step Nudeskin routine is perfect when you’re tired before bed.”
What does your daily routine look like right now—minimalist or overflowing vanity?
“I like to keep it short and sweet— I have been loving a no-foundation, concealer-only look using the Nudefix Cream Concealer ($28), a little bit of Naughty N’ Spice blush ($34) all over my cheeks and Bondi Bae ($34) to bronze. Because I have such sensitive skin, I like to stick to a minimalist routine to ensure I look put together without overwhelming my skin.”
What part of your makeup has to be done before you leave the house?
