Beauty TikTok is a unique space that allows creators to document and discuss what products work for them in short, digestible video clips. Going viral on TikTok is a surefire way for beauty and skin-care products to quickly shoot to fame. Neogen Dermalogy’s Pore Tight Peeling Mousse ($28) made its rounds on TikTok last year, and whispers of its impressive before and after results continue to circulate around the internet. Now, the company has launched a vegan version of the product called the Pore Zero Peeling Mousse.
What’s so special about the mousse? It achieves what many products struggle to deliver on: removing blackheads. Per Neogen, the uniquely formulated mousse tightens, refines and cleanses pores to remove pesky blackheads, whiteheads, dead skin and dirt, leaving your skin smooth.

The product first went viral when The Beauty Spy’s TikTok account posted a video that, while gross, demonstrated the shocking results of the product. In the video, the TikToker explained that the mousse acted as a “vacuum” that sucked out impurities. He even showed that the towel he used to wipe his face after using the product was speckled with dirt and dead skin that was removed from his pores. After using the mousse, the user said his skin felt “fresh, dewy, and hydrated.” Following that video, many other beauty TikTokers jumped on the trend, testing out the product for their followers.
Before-and-after images provided by Neogen demonstrate the impressive results after just one use. The photos show that the product was able to erase the majority of blackheads and improve skin texture by removing dead skin cells. While wiping your skin clear of impurities, the product also tightens up any drooping skin for a firmer, smoother appearance.
