Real Housewives of New York newcomer Leah McSweeny is known, among other things, for her no-holds-barred mentality. Lucky for us, that also means she’s an open book when it comes to all things beauty and cosmetic treatments.
The 38 year-old star recently shared with NewBeauty that her go-to in-office treatment is Vivace RF Microneedling, a no-downtime procedure she describes as “magical.” This weekend, McSweeny took to Instagram to peel back the curtain again for her fans, under-eye bruises and all.
“People are DMing me like crazy, inquiring why I have black eyes and asking if I got a nose job, asking if I got beat up,” says McSweeny. “I am not trying to hide [anything] from anybody. I got a rhinoplasty and a septoplasty. I could not be happier, I’ve been wanting one for so freaking long, and now I can also breathe, which is great.”
McSweeny continues, raving about her surgeon, New York plastic surgeon Daniel Maman, MD. “I love my doctor, he’s a great doctor, he’s an amazing doctor,” she says.
Before signing off, McSweeny shares one last message with her fans: "And I’m just never going to be one of those b-tches that pretends it’s not work, it’s contour makeup, because that’s f-cking weird.” We couldn't love her honesty more.
