Now, the Kylie Cosmetics empire has expanded and evolved as its founder takes on new aesthetics and releases new launches to cater to today’s beauty consumer. While we’ve grown out of the thick-browed, matte-lipped era of the mid 2000s, we all still yearn for the sheer energy of the King Kylie, lip kit era. As it turns out, the brand founder is listening to yearning fans, as she just announced the return of the iconic lip kit with an upgraded, modern-day feel.
The Kylie Lip Kit Is Coming Back
In a series of larger-than-life campaign photos, Jenner announced on Instagram this week that her beloved cosmetics brand is answering fans’ prayers and officially bringing back the lip kit, but this time swapping a matte lipstick for a luscious gloss. “Glossy meets lip kits 👄,” the caption for the new launch began. “A NEW take on our iconic lip kit featuring a supple kiss glaze and a contrasting precision pout lip liner for glossy, defined lips.”
In the same format as the viral OG lip kit, the Glossy Lip Kit comes with a lip liner and a hydrating, juicy lip gloss, perfect for nailing that kissable look. While the teaser for the new launch doesn’t list the full shade range, we do know that the new Glossy Lip Kits will drop on June 24, and we’ll be eagerly awaiting more details on this exciting launch.
