Indie Lee has a new sister brand: Indie Lee Botanicals. As announced today, Tuesday, February 24, the clean skin-care brand is expanding its reach with a new, more accessibly priced line exclusive to Whole Foods Market.
Available now, the collection includes four core products: Morning Dew Gel Cleanser ($20), Hydra Petal Facial Toner ($20), Vital Bloom Serum ($25) and Bloom Balance Moisturizer ($25). Notably, all products are $25 or under.
If you’re new to the brand, Indie Lee founded it in 2010 after a life-changing brain tumor diagnosis prompted her to take a closer look at the ingredients in her beauty products.
“I was the type of person who was incredibly into living a healthy lifestyle; I grew all of my vegetables in my own greenhouse!” Lee told NewBeautyin 2017. When her doctor asked more questions, she realized she wasn’t holding her beauty routine to the same standards—and she believes that oversight played a big role in her diagnosis. “I would apply anything and everything to my body," she continued. "I never paid attention.”
That realization led to the launch of Indie Lee, now a staple in the routines of beauty editors, celebrities and clean skin-care devotees alike. Its lineup spans everything from cult-favorite face cleansers (the Brightening Cleanser is a personal obsession) to targeted treatments, and prices typically fall in the $30 to $70 range.
The difference between the original Indie Lee line and Indie Lee Botanicals, according to the website, is that “Indie Lee Botanicals focuses on accessible, everyday essentials rooted in nature and wellness,” while “Indie Lee Core delivers targeted, clinical-grade treatments for specific concerns.”

"Indie Lee Botanicals is a return to where this brand began for me, in the garden and greenhouse, with a belief that what we put on our skin should support our overall wellbeing," Lee said in a press release. "Partnering with Whole Foods Market allows us to offer clean, thoughtfully formulated skin care that fits into everyday life, without compromising on values, quality or intention."
