Step 1

Starting with wet hair, Journo pulled the hair back into a tight ponytail. It can be done straight back or with a part. She then took a rubber band and secured the hair in a pony tail at the nape of the neck. Journo then used Lea Journo Mirror Glossing Cream ($26) over the top of the head for an even sleeker look.

Step 2

Next, Journo took 1/2 inch pieces of hair from the ponytail and twisted into a coil, starting from the bottom.

Journo wrapped the hair coil around the ponytail, securing it with straight pins.

Step 4

Journo continued the process, starting from the bottom of the ponytail, until all of the hair was wrapped and pinned. She finished the look with a volumizing spray for shine and hold.
