While I've lived in New York for half a decade now, the first time I really felt like a true New Yorker was the first time I did my makeup on the subway. While it wasn't glamorous, it's a right of passage to apply your mascara on your morning commute, proving that you've fully adapted to the hustle-and-bustle lifestyle.
While Hailey Bieber may not be a New Yorker, she sure is busy, as the mom-to-be is running a beauty empire on top of being a model, social media sensation and more. We're sure that Bieber's vanity setup is one to marvel at, but even Hailey has days where the review mirror will have to do. This weekend, the Rhode founder let followers in on her quick, easy, on-the-go makeup routine from the security of her (parked) car.
Hailey's 5-Minute Makeup Routine
If there is one thing we can thank Hailey for, it's making the less-is-more makeup look mainstream—a saving grace for the less makeup savvy among us. Keeping with her skin-forward, minimalist approach to beauty, Bieber began her routine with her own Rhode Glazing Milk ($30) to get her glowing, before going in with a Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra Wear Care & Glow Serum Concealer ($29) in an almost exact shade match, blending the lightweight concealer into her under eyes, around the nose and on her chin with Saie's Double Ended Sculpting Brush ($30).

Hailey then went in with her tried-and-true Kosas Revealer Super Creamy Concealer($30) in a lighter shade to brighten the same areas she tackled with the Lancôme concealer. Next, we got a another sneak peek at Rhode's upcoming blush tint in a bright pink shade as the founder swiped the product onto her cheeks and dabbed it into her skin with her fingers.
While we couldn't decipher the exact product, Hailey then fluffs up her brows with a brow gel and sets her under eyes with a translucent setting powder. To round out the look, she lines her full lips with RMS Beauty's Go Nude Lip Pencil ($25), dabs on some more of the unreleased Rhode lip and cheek stain and tops it off with her own Peptide Lip Tint ($16) in Toast.
