Dr Fredric Brandt, a beauty legend and an industry favorite, died at the age of 65 in his home in Coral Gables, Florida.
His publicist, Jacquie Trachtenberg, confirmed to Page Six: “He passed away this morning. He was suffering from an illness. Everyone who knows him is devastated.” Dr. Brandt counted celebrities such as Madonna and Stephanie Seymour as his clients and had an eponymous skincare line beloved by many.
Brandt was also a NewBeauty board member since the inception of the magazine and a brilliant pioneer in the cosmetic enhancement industry, contributing substantially to the advancement of injectables, fillers and anti-aging. We feel incredibly fortunate to have worked with him and he will be greatly missed.
