Bath & Body Works is trading novelty jars for something a little more grown-up. The brand just launched its Reserve Collection, a new line of home fragrance with an elevated, minimalist look that’s pretty different from the whimsical, kitschy packaging (glittery holiday labels, pickle-scented candles, pumpkin-carved jars) the brand’s long been known for.
Available now, the collection spans candles, room mists, liquidless reed diffusers and Wallflower plug-in refills, in five scent pairings: Santal + Amber, Sea Salt + Musk, Lavender + Jasmine, Vanilla + Tonka and Sweet Orange + Agave. The star of the show, according to this editor who’s tested the range, is the brand’s 30-ounce ceramic candle, which has a soft, two-tone glaze and a fluted bottom that looks stately as decor and, happily, lasts around 70 hours.
And beyond its looks, it smells elevated too. I’ve been testing Vanilla + Tonka, and it’s nothing like the syrupy, one-note vanilla candles that often crowd the candle aisle. Vanilla bean gets grounded by cedarwood and musk instead, giving it a warmth that envelops the whole first level of my home. It’s luxurious enough that when my mother walked into my home the other day, she assumed I’d splurged on a triple-digit candle.
“The Reserve Collection brings sophistication to home fragrance,” says Veronique Gabai-Pinsky, chief brand and product officer at Bath & Body Works. “We wanted to create a collection where form, function and scent work together and deliver true innovation in a way that feels both intentional and approachable.”
You can find The Reserve Collection at a Bath & Body Works store near you, but select products from the line are even more conveniently on its Amazon Prime storefront. In case you missed it, the brand landed there at the start of this year—a game-changer for last-minute gifts, hand-soap restocks and more. It's also the easiest place to grab Reserve, stock up on your kitschiest favorites or do a little of both.
