Ariana Grande is always at the top of our radar, which means her new makeup line, r.e.m beauty, is a highly-anticipated launch on our end. Here, everything we know about the futuristic drop, debuting on 11/12.
Fans started speculating the upcoming launch after beauty platform Trendmood announced that the star filed a trademark back in June. According to the account, the trademark for the line included products like skin care, body care, mousse, mists, soufflés, perfumes, shower gels, bath gels and more.
Fast forward to today, Ariana's line—it is a vegan cosmetics line named "r.e.m." after one of her previous songs—not only has its own Instagram page and website, but it's also the main topic of Allure's most recent cover story, which features Grande all done up in her products.
According to a recent release, the first launch—it will be called Chapter 1 Ultraviolet—will feature 12 products, and there's a lot to look forward to. Included in the lineup: everything from a 100-percent natural lash-lifting mascara, known as Flourishing Volumizing Mascara ($15), to Lip Stain Markers ($16), which are long-wearing and available in four different shades.
Other products we're looking forward to are the Utmost Importance Plumping Lip Gloss ($17), a clear, vanilla-scented pout-topper, the buildable and silky Midnight Shadows Eyeshadow Palette ($24) and the smudge-proof At The Borderline Eyeliner Marker ($19).
While the 27-year-old has never before ventured into the skin-care world, she has experience in the fragrance category with her line, Ariana Grande, which is sold at Ulta and includes products from lotions to bath gels.
