The marriage of free booze and blowouts has been made official.

The state of California has passed a law that allows barbershops and salons to serve alcohol (for free!). It was signed last year, but now it’s 100-percent official as of January 1.

One big business that will benefit: Drybar (hence, the bill’s name), which offers customers a drink if they’d like one. “That was something women were talking about—why they loved Drybar—they loved getting their hair done,” Drybar founder Ali Webb told ABC7. “They love the confidence they had when they went out the door, but they also love having a glass of wine while sitting here.”

But don’t gear up for a bottomless blowout bonanza. The new law mandates that customers receive only six ounces of wine or 12 ounces of beer and you’ll need to sip before 10 p.m.
