Tata Harper Skincare is entering a new chapter just in time for the new year. According to WWD’s Beauty Inc., the brand’s founder and namesake, Tata Harper, has officially stepped down as president of the luxury clean skin-care line—but rest assured, she’s staying closely involved. As reported by the outlet, Harper will transition into a new role as cofounder and brand ambassador. Stepping into her previous position is Shay Bennaim, former general manager of the luxury fragrance brand Le Labo.
“I am excited to enter this new chapter for Tata Harper Skincare alongside Shay Bennaim,” Harper said in a statement. “Under Shay’s leadership and with the expertise of our talented team, I am confident that Tata Harper Skincare will not only continue to lead the clean beauty industry but also consistently deliver innovative and luxurious products to our cherished community.”
This leadership shift is one of the most significant updates since Tata Harper Skincare was acquired by Korean beauty giant Amorepacific in 2022. Rather than frequently releasing new products, the brand is best known for its core collection of iconic bestsellers—like its Resurfacing Mask ($68), Regenerating Cleanser ($88) and Rejuvenating Serum ($92)—which have earned devoted fans among celebrities, editors and clean beauty enthusiasts alike.
That’s not to say we never see new launches. In 2024, Tata Harper introduced its Calming Crème ($130), a face moisturizer designed to soothe dry, itchy and stressed skin. Fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, and accepted by the National Eczema Association, it’s already become a strong contender for winter skin-care routines.
As the year comes to a close, we can’t wait to see what Tata Harper Skincare has planned for 2025 as it embarks on this exciting new chapter.
