Olivia Culpo’s street style and effortless beauty have taken the social media world by storm as of late, so when her hairstylist, Justine Marjan, shared how to get Olivia’s signature loose-wave style on her Instagram, we couldn’t wait to try it out ourselves. Here’s the lowdown:
First up, Marjan prepped Olivia’s hair with Marula Oil Rare Marula Style Extending Primer ($20) and Davines Volu Hair Mist ($36) to add extra texture and height to the look once dried.

She then blow-dried Olivia’s hair with the Fromm 1907 Square Thermal Rounder Brush ($18) and Paul Mitchell blowdryer to create “lots of volume” before pinning her hair to set the curl after each section was blow-dried.
“I then sprayed her hair with R+Co Vicious Strong Hold Hairspray ($29) and Ouai Dry Shampoo ($24) at the roots and let it ‘set’ for 10 minutes,” Marjan explains, adding that she then removed all the clips and clipped in Beauty Works Hair Extensions ($140)—noting that she only used three, “not much”—to add more dimension. She then back-brushed Olivia’s hair and went over some of the curls with a GHD curling iron.
