Melanie Griffith is no stranger to speculation around her changing looks and now the 59-year-old is opening up about her past cosmetic surgeries—ones she says she had more than 20 years ago.

As People.com reports, in the latest issue of Porter, Griffith admits she “didn’t [realize how drastically her procedures had changed her face] until people started saying, ‘Oh my god, what has she done?!’ I was so hurt I went to a different doctor and he started dissolving all of this sh*t that this other woman doctor had put in. Hopefully, I look more normal now.”
Prior to this interview, Griffith had not admitted to plastic surgery.
