The Bear’s Jeremy Allen White might be most well known for his acting chops and perfectly coiffed waves, but we should also take a second to admire his clear, dewy skin throughout both seasons of the Netflix show, too.

In a video for GQ, White outlined the items he can’t live without. Among them: his iconic white-on-white Nike Cortez sneakers; family mementos that keep him feeling close to his wife, Addison Timlin, and daughters, Ezer and Delores; a Diptyque candle to make the road smell more like home, and one particular moisturizer that made his simple skin-care cut: Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Men’s SPF 20 Moisturizer ($45).

“I don’t do a lot of stuff for my face. I wash it with warm water and then I put this stuff on,” he says. “It’s got SPF, it smells nice, it makes me feel good. I feel like with this, I don’t need much else even if that might not be completely true.”

White goes on to say this is the moisturizer he used while filming for The Bear, and it’s what helped keep his skin hydrated during harsh filming conditions. “We were shooting The Bear in Chicago in January and February so I would be putting this on all throughout the day; my skin gets really dry.”

The actor also keeps the multitasking moisturizer nearby when indulging in his go-to wellness ritual. “I like to go to bathhouses so I always make sure I have this if I’m going to any of the Korean spas in LA or my favorite bathhouse, the Russian Turkish Bathhouse in the East Village here in New York.”
