Dolce&Gabbana is bringing its beauty business in-house with the launch of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty, according to a press release from the brand.
Based in Milan, this company will directly control manufacturing, sales and distribution of the brand’s fragrance and makeup products after 30 years of working with external sources.
According to the release, Dolce&Gabbana Beauty’s core functions will to ensure product uniformity and quality, oversee all supply chain phases and keep quality at the utmost of standards at both a creative and service level. To maintain these pillars, the brand has reached partnership agreements with its finest producers from all around the world.
“The establishment of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty is an important step in the ongoing development of the Group’s assets, skills and responsibilities,” says CEO Alfonso Dolce according to a release. “This step is one aspect of a broader, long-term strategy that sees us committed to consolidating, nurturing and promoting the artisanal and manufacturing excellences of our wonderful country and beyond from within the same industrial project.
