Doja Cat revealed on twitter Monday, March 20th that she has undergone a cosmetic procedure and is recovering smoothly.
According to her replies to fans, the rapper underwent a breast reduction surgery, breast lift, and had liposuction on her thighs. Since November of 2022, Doja has expressed a desire to alter her breasts, tweeting that she was interested in a breast lift.
“I’m literally about to get surgery this winter lmao.” The Planet Her artist tweeted in November. “I just want my titties pulled up [because] some of my tops don’t fit the way I want them to.”
Now that she has a break from touring, it seems she finally had the time to complete the procedure and rest well. According to Doja, she’s healing “really fast” and spending her time “trapped under a coffee table” resting.
While most fans responded with well wishes, some expressed distaste with Doja’s choice, particularly to have fat removed via liposuction. When fans questioned why the artist was receiving negative feedback for having liposuction treatment on her thighs, Doja replied that critics “need things to be upset about” and were “miserable.”
Regardless of how others seem to feel about her procedures, according to Doja herself, she’s doing just fine and expects to be done healing within three months.
