The 2025 Critics Choice Awards are well underway, and the three-time host with the most, Chelsea Handler, isn’t letting anything hold her back from shining, not even a shoulder infection. Though Handler has been dealing with some pesky medical issues lately, the comedian committed to serving a look for tonight’s Critics Choice Awards, rocking a MATICEVSKI dress, soft waves and a stunning, subtle glam look courtesy of this under-the-radar makeup brand.

Chelsea Handler’s RCMA Critics Choice Awards Makeup Breakdown

For tonight’s 30th Annual Critics Choice Awards, Handler’s long-time makeup artist Jamie Greenberg opted for what many have deemed “Hollywood’s best kept secret,” RCMA Makeup. “For the Critics Choice Awards with host Chelsea Handler, we went for a glowy-goddess look,” Greenberg reveals. “It was all about the skin!” To help her complexion shine, Greenberg started by color-correcting with RCMA’s 5 Part Series Favorites Palette ($30) and concealing with the brand’s Vincent Kehoe 18 Part Foundation/Concealer Palette ($72).

“I then sculpted the face and warmed it up with the Beach Day Bronzer in Santa Monica ($24) and matted down the T-zone with the Premiere Loose Powder in No Color/Amber, touching up throughout the night,” Greenberg reveals, “These powders are talc-free which I love.” She finished out her goddess glow look with the Summer Lights Illuminating Balm ($24) on Handler’s cheeks along with the 5-Part Cream Blush Palette in shade Gena Pink ($30) and a dash of the Diamond Lights Pressed Powder.

“For the eyes, I brushed Handler’s brows up and lightly filled them in with Subtl Staks 3-in-1 Brow Pencil ($26),” Greenberg goes on. “On her eyes we used the Jamie Makeup The Eye Schtick in Taupe ($29), RCMA Summer Lights Illuminating Balm in Daybreak ($24) and a dab of the Diamond Lights Pressed Powder ($34). I used the Kat Von D Tattoo liner in black ($20) and then for lashes, I used Velour- X Tensions Lash Clusters ($30) to build the lash, along with Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash extensions in Brynn ($26).”
