For sculpted, filled-in brows without the need to lift a finger, microblading has become the gold standard. Now a bonafide beauty “secret” for countless celebrities, the semipermanent cosmetic tattoo treatment is a no-brainer for those who want the look of naturally thicker arches with none of the work traditional brow products require.

Still, for those of us currently under stay-at-home orders without access to an expert, or just plain needle-averse, we’ve been out of luck—until now. Yet again, the brow gurus at Benefit have heard our cries with their latest microblading-inspired launch: the Brow Microfilling Pen ($25), out now.

Influenced by the superfine, hair-like strokes tattooed during microblading, the pen’s angled, three-pronged tip delivers the perfect amount of pigment to create the look of natural hairs. And because the prongs themselves are the perfect hair-like width, virtually all guesswork is taken out of the equation: All you have to do is place and flick.

To use, the brand suggests beginning at the base, using upward motions until you reach the arch. Then turn the pen sideways and continue drawing with single-prong strokes.

In true microblading-inspired fashion, the product lasts, promising a waterproof, budgeproof effect for up to 24 hours—a major plus for all of the time we’ve been spending outdoors. Available in four shades—Blonde, Light Brown, Medium Brown and Deep Brown—this product is sure to be a sell-out, so add it to your cart while you can.
