Ariana Madix, currently making waves as this season’s standout host on Love Island USA, has captivated viewers with her glamorous looks that have rocked the villa. However, with more fame comes more scrutiny, especially regarding her appearance. Recently, Madix decided to address some online speculation about her possible plastic surgery head-on.
The speculation originated from an Instagram user, @baileysbotox, who posted a detailed analysis of Madix’s possible cosmetic procedures:
“Stunning injectables have entered the villa. Ariana continues to show the Love Island world how cosmetic work can preserve and enhance and not age and distort. What does proper volume replacement with filler look like? This. Nearly invisible, like she simply hasn’t aged since her first season of VPR. The apples of her cheeks remain full instead of flattening over time. Her under eyes appear rejuvenated and rested without puffiness or crowding. Her lip filler appears more noticeable, this is usually by choice. Her lips are still balanced with her other facial features. She has been open about her jawline contouring with minimally invasive liposuction. Again, it’s nearly invisible but enhances her natural softer jawline.”
In response, Madix provided a breakdown of the procedures she has had, aiming to set the record straight for her followers and critics alike. Her comment read:
“I’ll tell you what I’ve had! You’re partially correct. Botox in my glabellar lines, outer brow and my neck. Ellevate for my neck in 2019 by @theneckdoctor. Minimal lip filler because my face is too small to handle very much and filler in my chin. Absolutely no filler anywhere else and definitely no blepharoplasty yet. Hope this helps! I’ll keep y’all posted if I do anything else.”
The Vanderpump Rules star’s straightforwardness is refreshing in an industry often cloaked in secrecy about aesthetic enhancements. By openly sharing her experience with Botox in her glabellar lines, outer brow and neck, as well as her 2019 MyEllevate neck procedure performed by Beverly Hills, CA plastic surgeon Greg Mueller, MD, she fosters transparency. MyEllevate, considered minimally invasive, is one part necklift, one part structural support, and one part skin-tightening. It is performed in an office setting under twilight sedation and uses a light-guided cannula to thread sutures into the skin to lift the neck and jawline.
She also admits to using minimal lip filler and chin filler, noting that her facial structure cannot accommodate large amounts of filler, which can be a valuable lesson for those considering filler enhancements. The Vanderpump Rules star also debunked rumors of having fillers elsewhere on her face or undergoing blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), showing that not all changes are due to plastic surgery.
We applaud Madix for many things, but her transparent approach helps promote a healthy dialogue about plastic surgery and aesthetic treatments. However, we can’t help but think that this is one reality star who didn’t need a glow-up—she’s glowing on her own.
