At tonight's 29th annual Screen Actors Guild awards in LA, the beauty and fashion complemented each other so harmoniously to create some of the most head-turning looks we've ever seen grace a red carpet. The celebrity makeup artists in charge of painting the faces of Hollywood's elite gave us full-on glam tonight, with one trend standing out from the rest: the perfect nude lip. These A-listers nailed it, and then some.

Amanda Seyfried

A nominee for her incredible role in The Dropout, Amanda Seyfried's throwback look was a crowd favorite. "The inspiration was based on the dress and the '60s vibe," says celebrity makeup artist Genevieve Herr. "I decided to stay in the '60s theme and do a strong eyeliner paired with a subtle lip to keep it modern."

Herr lined and filled the lip with Lancôme Le Lip Liner Pencil in Bronzelle ($28) and then topped them with Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Cream Lipstick in 250 Tendre Mirage ($35) "for a subtle, neutral lip for that perfect modern finish."

Aubrey Plaza

“Aubrey’s stunning metallic sequin gown felt like a modern take on a 1930’s screen siren and it immediately made me want to do a 'bronzed goddess' makeup look!" says celebrity makeup artist Kathy Jeung. "A sexy, smoky kohl-rimmed, bronzed eye with radiant, glowing skin and soft lips to perfectly complement!”

On The White Lotus star and winner for Best Ensemble tonight, Jeung used cult-classic Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk ($25) followed by K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Runway Royalty ($35).
